While we understand that conflicts pop up and sickness happens, products that are used in the class are ordered in advance, therefore cancellation must be made a week in advance of the class date. If cancelling under a week, you may find a substitute and transfer your registration. We recommend posting in our facebook group to see if anyone else is interested in your spot.
We typically do not put age restrictions on most of our classes. Kids vary greatly in their skill level and ability to focus at all ages, so we leave it up to the parents to decide if their child will do well in a class environment for 90 minutes or so. A guideline has been ages 5 -12 but we have had kids as young as 3 and as old as 15 do well and love the classes! We also have classes geared specifically toward toddlers and also for teens.
Classes are now held at The Garage Community and Youth Center in Kennett Square, PA. While we previously operated out of our home kitchen, we are so proud to have outgrown it and need a bigger and better space to teach all the delicious things!
We are in the process of figuring out logistics of doing birthday parties in our new space, as well as hiring another teacher to be able to accommodate the parties. We have been operating out of our home for the past 2 years so it was difficult to incorporate birthday parties as free weekends are rare for us know with 2 kiddos under 2!
If you are interested in doing a party with us, please send an email to [email protected] with desired dates, ages and number of children expected, and theme/type of food you’d like to do, and we will get back to you with more information.
You only need to purchase 1 ticket for your child. Adults do not need to pay, they are just along for the ride!
Yes. While these are cooking classes with instruction from us, we like to think of them as an interactive experience between a child and their parent/grandparent/etc. However, we will soon be offering more classes that are geared towards kids 10+ that will not require an adult to be present.
We will do our best to accommodate food allergies and lifestyles (i.e. vegan/vegetarian, dairy-free, etc), but cannot guarantee that all recipes will be able to be modified. Additionally, we do use dairy, gluten, and peanuts in our kitchen. Please contact us at [email protected] prior to registering for a class if you or your child has a food allergy.
Many of our classes have been EXTREMELY popular and have sold out in just days. We highly recommend registering AND PAYING for your class as soon as they are posted. Once an event has sold out, a waitlist option will be added to the class event page.
