Hi all! I’m Megan Dague, creator and owner of The Kennett Kitchen, as well as your favorite head class teacher. I’m a Midwestern girl at heart, born and raised in Wisconsin. I moved to Pennsylvania in 2014 with my husband, Jason, who is originally from the Hershey area. I previously did Market Intelligence for a fabulous company, but left to raise my babies. Nowadays, by day (and by day I mean ALL day, 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year) I am a stay-at-home mommy to Benjamin and Madelyn. The most adorable little sous chefs I could ever imagine. I’m a HUGE lover of pizza and cookie dough, you know, the ultimate health freak! Besides loving to bake, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful family, running, and binge-watching Breaking Bad, Parenthood, and Game of Thrones.
A little about how The Kennett Kitchen came to be. Back in November 2016, I started selling Pampered Chef for something to do while I stayed home with my little babe. By December, I had already realized I HATED selling, but I LOVED teaching. So I held 2 kid’s classes – pizza making and cookie baking – the week between Christmas and New Years to give kids something productive and exciting to do with their parents while home on break. People loved it so much, they asked for more. And more. And more. And here we are just 3 years later, creating new classes every month! I could have never imagined that I’d be here today, getting all of you into The Kitchen! <3
